Calgary to Banff

How about another time lapse? OK. This one is Calgary to Banff in four minutes, shot on sunday. Kinda speaks for itself. See if you can catch the cop in a speed trap soon after the banff park gates. ;-)

I lied. There really is no way to see the cop parked in the middle of the road when it's in 16x time lapse. things just happen a LITTLE to quickly.

I concur...people are slow. But that's just because "generally, people are stupid."

Btw, I counted ONE car that passed you and I think that was just because you were slowing down at Canmore. I want a time lapse of Alex at work...I want to see what you do all day. Attach a camera to your hat or something :).

A time lapse of Alex at work.. Hmmm... Might just have to give this a try.

Alex at work.... don't think so. Word is he really only works 20 minutes per day. You could show that video without speeding it up!

is that a challenge? DO I HEAR CHALLENGE? 20 minutes per day.. What I do in 20 minutes takes the common man a week.

My, my, my....common man - aren't we a little cocky my friend (and a little defensive - mmmm, struck a nerve perhaps...) Secretly, we are all just jealous that you only really work 20 minutes per day and bluff your way through the rest:)

Do the math :P

Big DC - you crack me up! If we sped up your day, it would just be a blur.

Oh and Schaaper - that's a challenge.

did anyone else catch the WTF license plate at COP on the Volvo?

Funny thing, I actually caught that as I pulled up behind him. I thought to myself damn that would a cool plate to have, I wonder if they still make them. I bet not.
"WTF" has become a little too well known.

I was going to comment on the "WTF" liscence plate, but I see that it was already discused.

Alex, Have you ever seen the music video for Lacquer's "Behind"? If so I see where you got your inspiration. If not, this is a crazy coincedence... google it and check it out.
I watched the "Behind" video about 2 years ago and decided I wanted to make a driving time lapse video. I made a mount for my F828 in my jetta above the rear seat (much to Katie's shagrin). To make a long story short, I got about 2 hours of footage driving around but decided it was too boring to make anything of it, not like LA to NYC in 3 minutes.
Yours is very entertaining! brings back memories of when mike and I made the drive from vancouver to calgary. I averaged about 140 from banff to your place.. sweet memories :)
Great minds think alike...
